Practitioner-Supported Ordering
Every order is reviewed by a Canada-based Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDNP). Before your kit ships, your health-intake form is reviewed so you're matched to the right panel; after your results return, you have practitioner guidance to help you and your healthcare provider act on them. This is testing that supports a practitioner relationship — we don't diagnose or treat, and we always recommend interpreting results with a qualified provider.
Meet Madison Ordway, FDNP
Madison Ordway is a Canada-based, certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDNP) and the practitioner behind GI MAP Test Canada. Her work centres on gut health and the interpretation of functional stool testing — using results like the GI-MAP™ to connect symptoms such as bloating, IBS, fatigue, skin flares and autoimmune issues to underlying drivers like dysbiosis, pathogens, H. pylori and intestinal inflammation.
For nearly two years she has worked with Gut Harmony, a functional gut-health practice based in South Carolina, guiding clients through root-cause, test-based protocols. As the practitioner supporting this portal, Madison reviews your intake before your kit ships, helps you choose the right GI-MAP™ package, and provides guidance so you and your provider can act on your results. Our Lab Partner & Methodology
The GI-MAP™ is manufactured and processed by Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory (DSL) in Alpharetta, Georgia — an FDA-registered, CLIA-certified clinical laboratory. The test uses quantitative PCR (qPCR) DNA technology, which can detect target organisms down to roughly one cell per 10 grams of stool and report exact quantities — far more sensitive than culture or microscopy. A single sample is analyzed for 85+ biomarkers: bacterial and parasitic pathogens, H. pylori with 8 virulence factors, viruses, fungi, beneficial and opportunistic flora, intestinal-health markers (calprotectin, secretory IgA, elastase-1, steatocrit, beta-glucuronidase, anti-gliadin IgA), and antibiotic-resistance genes.
